Showpiece Family Kitchen

This family home was missing a key component; a kitchen with style. While not technically an open concept space; the kitchen had peek-a-boo views from several key rooms of the home.

The existing layout of the appliances was quite functional for the family.  However, storage, organization, and personality in the kitchen was lacking. It was clear that the original builder didn’t put much time into making the kitchen inviting. Dusty blue cabinets with matt black hardware, and paneled appliances give the kitchen a furniture quality.

A custom decorative hood, and marble mosaic backsplash create drama and high style next to the modernized white subway tile. The apron front sink with matte black plumbing fixtures, help maintain a classic feel.  A kitchen that was once ignored in the background, quickly became showpiece of the home.
