Rustic Elegance Kitchen
The kitchen of this second home for an immediate family of five plus extended family and friends, offers a chef’s dream with first class appliances, plenty of space and detailing as clever as it is beautiful.
The design and layout was driven by the technical specifications of the owner, who is an avid cook. The kitchen is designed for family needs as well as business functions held at the house.
The pre stressed cabinets and quirky details such as the cow hide panels under the seating area of the island, fit in perfectly with the overall elegant luxury cabin style of the rest of the house. The large center island countertop of natural stone is a beautiful focal point of the room.
With eight burners and double ovens, the range offers professional level cooking possibilities. There are two sinks, one at the large island in the middle, and one by the window that opens up to the serving counter for the patio and grill area on the porch.
The kitchen is also equipped with two fridges, a wet bar for easy serving, and a walk in pantry.
Each room in this home has a distinct design concept and color scheme, and yet, as you move from room to room, an overall flow and consecutiveness from one space to another still exists.
